U7's Runners up at the Kent's!

Another fantastic display for Sidcup under 7s this weekend at the Kent Festival.

Some fantastic rugby played by the whole squad culminating in 3 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw. A 6-5 defeat by Sevenoaks, the winner scored in the last play of the match, was followed by an 8 all thriller with Tonbridge Judd, courteously of a 5 try haul by Jake Caple.

As the day progressed we got stronger and stronger beating Whitstable, Aylesford and finally Beccehamians to finish 2nd in our group.

Every player scored and some of the rugby was phenomenal; most notably a beautiful switch move to score in the corner, a cross field floated pass by Monty, a 4 try haul for Oliver vs Becs and a hat trick of tries for Taine vs Aylesford.

Oh and not to forget Freddie's solo effort, the try of the tournament, jinking through most of the opposition before scoring in the corner ...
