Cranbrook Festival Success

15 hardy players turned out during half term and forecast stormy weather to represent their club at Cranbrook.

We got off to the best start with all three teams winning their opening games in style. During the next 3 hours more stars where born, tries scored, and tags ripped from the opposition than I could count. 'Sidcup 1' scored 7 tries in each match, 'Sidcup 2' all performed well with tries abound, and 'Sidcup 3' making life difficult for all that opposed them. We ended up P12, W6, D3, L3. All the players that I saw play (and sorry if I miss anyone out, I had to watch 3 teams and referee 4 games....) played brilliantly. The usual suspects, Oliver M, Jake, Freddy, Charlie, Max, William C made a big impact, and Oliver L, William J and Aaron got a haul of tries. I'll remember Toby handing off 3 players twice his size for a long time (Toby - you aren't allowed to do that....yet!), Joseph, Ross, Samuel & Sonny shone through and George tagged more than I can count.

Overall all I couldn't have asked for much more from our 2nd run out!

Competition for places is now fierce for the Lexus; everyone is in contention for just 8 places!
