Foxbury Festival
Well played to our new U7s; their first festival as a new team and they did Sidcup proud;
After showing a bit of ring rust early doors and going 3-0 down, Sidcup rallied in the 2nd half, eventually going down 4-3 in their first game vs. Bromley.
Our 2nd game, and the defensive tactics worked a treat nullyfing the attacking threat from Westcombe Park A to record a comprehensive 4-2 victory.
Third up Westcombe Park B complete with their own referee, and we were unlucky to lose 6-4, after going into the last minute or so level at 4-4.
A fantastic effort in the last game vs. the home team of Old E's; 3-2 up going into the last minute, one of our players makes a break, darts for the line, but can't quite get the ball down and is a foot short....ball turns over, and Old E's break to score a heartbreaking try with the last touch of the game to secure a scarcely deserved 3-3 draw.
Well done boys and look forward to seeing you all at Bromley next week to continue the good work !
