Foxbury Festival

So, sorry everyone - back to my regular post festival debriefings zzzzzzz

Great to be back in a competitive environment on a beautiful sunny day in the great surroundings of Eltham college....The Foxbury festival is one of the oldest and most keenly contested in the area and as such most clubs sent along their 'A' teams' where as we thought everyone deserved the opportunity to play.

We put up a great effort and as expected played some tough and close games. Attitude was spot on and everyone put in 100%, and we scored some great tries. Think it's fair to say we need to work on defensive technicalities but for a first contact festival it was a good run out.

But the scores don't reflect the performances at all....

Well done to Lewis for man of the week with a great all round effort capped with a fine try with the last play of the day, to tommy with early contender for tackle of the season and tom for lung busting try of the day !

A good foundation and onwards and upwards to cranbrook next week
