Sidcup U15 produced a strong performance today running in nine try’s and kicking five conversions in their rearranged Quarter Final game at Whitstable. Sidcup moved the ball with purpose, with the forwards picking and driving and linking with the backs who created a number of opportunities scoring six unanswered try’s and took a half time lead of 38-0. However after the break the opposition ran in two quick try’s to reduce the deficit to 38-10, Sidcup hit back scoring two further try’s before Whitstable scored a third , the action continued with Sidcup scoring their final try just before the final whistle. The game was played in a good spirit and Whitstable competed to the end and were a credit to their club.Sidcup move into the Semi Finals with another Away game at Medway next Sunday, the boys deserved their plaudits at the final whistle for a performance that consisted of flair, teamwork and effort.
