All rugby events at or involving Sidcup RFC for all age groups is cancelled until at least 14 April 2020. No games, no training.

Current RFU advice:

"Following government advice, the RFU will suspend all rugby activity in England, at both professional and community levels.

Rugby activity includes club training, league and cup matches plus rugby education courses from 17 March until 14 April subject to continued review.

The decision has been taken following government advice in the interests of players, coaches, referees, volunteers, supporters and the wider rugby union community.
Where possible, players at all levels are encouraged to maintain their own personal fitness and keep active during this time, while following government guidelines about safe distance and safe exercise environments.

The RFU will continue to review and monitor government advice and will provide detailed updates on the impact to the season in the coming weeks."

As a result, all rugby at the club is now postponed / cancelled with immediate effect until at least 14 April.

In terms of the first team league programme, during this period of suspension a number of options will be considered so some sort of guidance can be issued in due course. It is reasonable to assume that this will not include a resumption of the season.

The club gym will remain open for the time being but as it is an unsupervised gym, users must take their own responsibility for cleanliness. Sanitising spray and wipes are available in the gym.
